Birth & Postpartum Doula, Postpartum Chef, and Birth Photographer
I’m Yasemin—a doula, postpartum chef, and birth photographer passionate about walking with women who crave depth, clarity, and true support. I’m especially drawn to strong, intentional mothers who want to feel seen, nourished, and honored in their journey.
I believe birth and postpartum are sacred spaces that deserve deep care. Through ancestral, easily digestible meals, I offer nourishment where words often fall short. My camera is another tool I use to witness and reflect the raw, powerful beauty of motherhood—those honest, in-between moments that matter most.
Whether I’m holding space in labor, preparing warm, healing meals, or clicking the shutter in a sacred moment, my work is about presence. Depth. Devotion. It’s about walking with women as they become—again and again.
At home, I homeschool my three little ones, embrace the rhythms of living with an autoimmune condition, and find joy in crocheting, cooking, and exploring nature. My life is full and grounded in love—and it keeps me connected to the heart of this work.

Birth & Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator and Placenta Specialist
I’m Jessica—a birth and postpartum doula, placenta specialist, and childbirth educator with a deep passion for helping women own their births like the queens they are. My work is rooted in the belief that every mother carries ancient wisdom within her—a deep well of female knowing that rises in birth when we trust it. I’m here to remind women of that truth.
Whether I’m offering support during labor, guiding a new mother through postpartum, or preparing her placenta for healing, I want every woman I serve to feel strong, seen, and completely confident in her intuition. Birth isn’t just physical—it’s sacred, transformative, and wildly powerful when you lean into it.
As a mother of four—all born at home—I know firsthand the raw beauty and strength that lives in physiological birth. I bring that lived experience into every space I hold, offering calm, grounded support rooted in reverence for the process.
These days, I live in my childhood home with my family, surrounded by 15 acres of magic—where we garden, explore, and live slowly. The land keeps me connected to nature, rhythm, and the timeless connection between womanhood and birth.

Founder, Birth & Postpartum Doula, Placenta Specialist, and Childbirth Educator
I am a South Carolina Gal, rooted in the holistic journey of motherhood. With a BS in Exercise and Wellness, course work in Women's Health and a personal journey navigating health--I am all too familiar with the need for advocates and self-education. My passion goes beyond birthing rooms. This work is about creating balance, safety, and deep connection to return the birthing experience back to its rightful owners- mothers. Founding GVL Doula Besties stems from my hope to create a soulful community where doulas and mothers unite in friendship, creating a tangible impact on each other's lives amid the crazy rollercoaster of life.
When I'm not working, I find solace in adventure, laughter and hand crafts! You will find me hiking to waterfalls with my husband of 6 years, William, spending time with friends, or cozying up on the couch to embroider.

Birth & Postpartum Doula,
Pre & Postnatal Fitness Specialist
I believe in the power of prayer, touch and being prepared for anything birth throws at you! Originally from Delaware, I was a professional dancer in NYC and Carnival Cruise Lines before moving to Charleston, SC where I met my husband, Skipper. We now live on Lake Keowee with our two pups! Movement has always been a passion of mine, after finishing my dancing career, I became a fitness instructor and specialize in pre/postnatal fitness and I am passionate about encouraging women and celebrating all that our bodies are capable of.
I am currently in my Granny Era! I enjoy crocheting, making sourdough bread and homemade jams! I also love being in the sunshine, hiking, reading and barre workouts!

Birth & Postpartum Doula
I am a gentle soul with a deep love for the sacred rhythm of birth. Rooted in spirituality and a holistic mindset, I serve families with a calming presence and an open heart. My doula work is grounded in the belief that birth is more than a moment—it’s a journey of healing, transformation, and deep connection. I approach each experience with care, empathy, and a meditative spirit, helping mothers feel safe, supported, and seen.
Originally from the States, I spent three beautiful years living in England with my husband—an Englishman who keeps my tea game strong and my heart grounded. These days, you’ll find me exploring coffee shops and antique stores, hiking with my family, or cozy at home with a warm cup of tea and a nourishing meal. I believe in mindful living, deep listening, and showing up fully present. To me, birth work is sacred—an invitation to witness love, power, and rebirth in its purest form.

Birth & Postpartum Doula
I’m a faith-filled mama of four girls, forever captivated by the raw, beautiful power of birth. As a holistic birth doula, my heart is drawn to women who believe in their strength—even when it’s buried deep—and want to reclaim birth as something sacred, instinctual, and wildly transformative. My fourth baby was an 11-pound home birth, and that experience forever shaped how I show up in this work: hands-on, steady, and full of belief in the women I serve.
My husband (my high school sweetheart!) and I are raising our daughters with love, laughter, and a deep appreciation for the slow and meaningful things in life. I’m always reading (120 books last year!), forever watching birth videos, and happiest when I’m snuggled up with my people and a plate of sushi or tacos… preferably with dessert close by. This work is more than a calling—it’s a joy. Supporting women through pregnancy and birth is an honor I’ll never take lightly.

How Did You Become a Certified Doula and an Advocate for Women’s Health?
Madi, Founder: My interest in becoming a doula started in college, in my Women’s Health Class. On the first day of class, my professor said, “When I go through menopause, I’m throwing my uterus a party!”
I had never heard a woman so enthusiastic about her body in that way. Learning from her, I became passionate about the personal journey women go through to give birth and recover! Our bodies are powerful and capable. AND there are so many things women are told are just part of life that don’t have to be!
As a doula, I am able to educate families, ease the burden of uncertainty, and provide REAL support as women experience bodily changes, navigate the medical system and, adjust to parenthood. Giving birth is a beautiful part of life, and I am so grateful that I get to help women have the best possible experience whether that is a home birth, at a birth center, or at a hospital. Honestly, from the moment I heard what a doula was, I knew that it was made for me! Empowering women every day is a dream come true!
CLIENT LOVE: Ebony
“Madi was absolutely amazing. She understood the assignment. I would recommend her. She was so supportive and knowledgeable. We appreciate her being here through our birth experience. I appreciate her also coaching my hubby and showing him different techniques to support me properly.
I said I’m one and done lol but if there is any slip ups I would definitely have her come again!”
